Alex Gil is Senior Lecturer II and Associate Research Faculty of Digital Humanities in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University. He is currently senior editor of archipelagos journal. He has been a prolific producer and contributing team member of many recognized digital humanities projects and scholarly software including, Torn Apart/Separados, In The Same Boats, and more recently, (Un)Silencing Slavery.

Kaiama L. Glover

Kaiama L. Glover is Ann Whitney Olin Professor of French and Africana Studies and Director of the Digital Humanities Center at Barnard College, Columbia University. She is the author of A Regarded Self: Caribbean Womanhood and the Ethics of Disorderly Being (Duke University Press) and of Haiti Unbound: A Spiralist Challenge to the Postcolonial Canon (Liverpool UP 2010), among other works. Glover is founding co-editor of archipelagos journal, and founding co-director of the digital scholarly project In the Same Boats.

Kelly Baker Josephs is Professor of English at the University of Miami. She is the author of Disturbers of the Peace: Representations of Insanity in Anglophone Caribbean Lit­erature (2013), and coeditor of The Digital Black Atlantic (2021). Josephs is the founder and former editor of sx salon: a small axe literary platform, and manages The Caribbean Commons website.

Andreina Soto is a historian and anthropologist. Her research examines the ways people of African descent contested and reshaped institutions, norms, and imperial geographies in the early modern period. She is currently Associate Director of the Mellon-funded Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective, and a member of the Neogranadina team.
