Kaiama Glover

Kaiama L. Glover is Ann Whitney Olin Professor of French and Africana Studies and Director of the Digital Humanities Center at Barnard College, Columbia University. She is the author of Haiti Unbound: A Spiralist Challenge to the Postcolonial Canon (Liverpool UP 2010), and of the forthcoming monograph, "Disorderly Women: On Caribbean Community and the Ethics of Self-Regard" (Duke University Press). Glover is founding co-editor of archipelagos journal, and founding co-director of the digital humanities project In the Same Boats: Toward an Afro-Atlantic Intellectual Cartography.

Kelly Baker Josephs is Professor of English at York College, CUNY and Professor of English and Digital Humanities at the CUNY Graduate Center. She is the author of Disturbers of the Peace: Representations of Insanity in Anglophone Caribbean Lit­erature (2013), founder and former editor of sx salon: a small axe literary platform, and manager of The Caribbean Commons website. Her current monograph project, “Caribbean Articulations: Storytelling in a Digital Age,” explores the intersections between new technologies and Caribbean cultural production.

Alex Gil is Digital Scholarship Librarian at Columbia University. He is the founder of the Butler Studio at Columbia University Libraries, a space focused on digital scholarship and pedagogy; faculty moderator of Columbia’s Group for Experimental Methods in the Humanities, a vibrant trans-disciplinary research cluster focused on experimental humanities; and founding co-editor of archipelagos journal. Recent digital scholarly projects include Ed; Torn Apart/Separados; and, In The Same Boats.
