Featuring renowned scholar and public intellectual Yarimar Bonilla (Hunter College & The Graduate Center, CUNY) and celebrated documentary photographer Ruddy Roye, this panel considers the situation of the diasporic Caribbean social actor at the intersection of humanistic study, artistic production, and political activism. Bonilla and Roye share their insights regarding their roles and responsibilities as re-presenters of various local realities in globally accessible digital formats.
